Strong presence at the IdeenExpo showcases a wide range of apprenticeships

Europe’s largest youth event for science and technology attracted over 430,000 interested visitors to the Hannover Exhibition Centre from the beginning of June 2024 to try out the exhibits from companies, universities and scientific institutions. This year, Nordzucker once again impressed as an exhibitor with a great presentation: in the bear factory, young people were able to make bears out of sugar, while the water pump was a sporting experience. The model factory showed how sugar is made from sugar beet and the sugar tower illustrated the variety of products. Over 80 workshops aimed at pupils from the fifth grade onwards provided practical insights. The award-winning Azubi-Talk! format made its grand entrance on the show stage this year.

In an authentic and eye-to-eye manner, Nordzucker apprentices encouraged the young audience to try out the exciting aspects of sugar production, answered questions about everyday working life and explained the company’s wide range of apprenticeships. Whether IT, electronics, industrial mechanics, warehouse logistics, machine and plant management or a dual study programme in IT/business informatics: Nordzucker offers a wide range of apprenticeships at various locations.
